Dr. Zhang earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Tianjin Medical University from August 2017 to June 2022. She conducted postdoctoral research at Peking University from July 2022 to June 2024, and has been an Assistant Research Fellow at Shanghai University since June 2024. Dr. Zhang currently serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member of Pharmaceutical Science Advances. Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on the construction of microfluidic chip-based sample pretreatment platforms and the development of chip–mass spectrometry online coupling methods for single-cell proteomics, with an emphasis on efficient separation and enrichment of proteins and post‑translationally modified peptides. Her work is characterized by two core features: (1) deep integration of functionalized capillary monolithic columns (including TiO₂‑doped columns, acetylated molecularly imprinted columns, and star-shaped boronate affinity columns) with microfluidic chips to construct multifunctional online platforms for protein fractionation, enzymatic digestion, and enrichment of acetylated peptides/glycopeptides; (2) design of a fully integrated microfluidic chip–nanoLC–MS system enabling rapid pretreatment and highly sensitive detection of single‑cell samples, significantly improving the depth of mass spectrometry‑based proteomic identification at the single‑cell level. As first author, she has published SCI papers in journals including Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Proteome Research, and Analytica Chimica Acta, and has been granted 3 national invention patents. She has led research projects including the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Postdoctoral Fellowship of the Beijing National Laboratory for Molecular Sciences.
