Jianqiang Wu

Member

Dr. Wu earned his Ph.D. in Pathology and Pathophysiology from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) from September 2013 to July 2018. He is currently an Associate Research Fellow at the National Infrastructures for Translational Medicine (Peking Union), Peking Union Medical College Hospital. His research focuses on disease pathogenesis, therapeutic target discovery, biomarker identification, and clinical translational applications based on proteomic technologies. As first or corresponding author (including co-authorship), he has published over 20 SCI-indexed papers in journals including Circulation and MedComm. He has contributed as a co-author to two English-language monographs, been granted 12 invention patents, and received the Special Prize of the 2025 Beijing Medical Science and Technology Award, the 8th China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Outstanding Scientific Paper Selection Award, and the 2023 Top 100 Outstanding Medical Papers of the Chinese Medical Association. He has served as Principal Investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Beijing Natural Science Foundation (including the Young Scientist Program and the Young Scientist Rolling Support Program), the Central High-Level Hospital Young Elite Program, and the PUMC Youth Fund. He is a Youth Committee Member of the Chinese Human Proteome Organization (CNHUPO), a Committee Member of the Clinical Data and Biobank Resources Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a Youth Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Biotechnology, and a peer reviewer for over 20 SCI-indexed journals including Advanced Science, Ageing Research Reviews, npj Precision Oncology, and Cardiovascular Diabetology.
