Dr. Wu earned her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), from September 2010 to July 2016. She conducted postdoctoral research at Georgetown University, USA, from June 2019 to May 2023. She served as a Lecturer at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Liaoning Normal University, from January to September 2024, and has been an Associate Professor at the same institution since September 2024. Given the growing demand for deep-coverage proteomic analysis in biomedicine, how to reduce sample complexity and improve mass spectrometry identification efficiency remains a critical challenge in the field. Dr. Wu has long been dedicated to key proteomic technologies, including sample preparation, chromatographic separation, and mass spectrometry quantification, providing technical support for efficient analysis and characterization of biological samples: (1) Developing highly selective, low-residue hydrophilic materials for enriching post-translationally modified proteomes; (2) Fabricating efficient and stable hybrid monolithic columns for protein/peptide separation; (3) Developing highly sensitive and accurate mass spectrometry methods for quantitative analysis of trace proteomes, and applying these technologies to the specific enrichment of low-abundance cross-linked peptides, enabling large-scale analysis of in situ protein interactions in complex biological samples. Dr. Wu has published 25 papers in journals including Analytical Chemistry (3 papers), ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Reviews, and Analytica Chimica Acta (3 papers), with 12 as first author (including co-first). She has filed 16 patents, of which 8 have been granted.
