Zhiyuan Hu

Professor at the School of Nanoscience and Technology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, doctoral supervisor, and CAS specially-appointed core position researcher. He received his bachelor’s degree in genetics from Fudan University and Ph.D. in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) in the laboratory of Professor Leroy Hood, founder of systems biology, and was later hired as a research scientist. He has served as an expert reviewer for in vitro diagnostic medical devices at the US FDA. He has led multiple projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, NSFC, CAS, and municipal science and technology commissions. He has published over 100 papers in international academic journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, PNAS, and J Clin. Invest., and applied for over 30 invention patents. He serves as the head of the CTC Technology Expert Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, president of the China CTC Industry Alliance, adjunct doctoral supervisor at Fujian Medical University and Wuhan Institute of Technology, and editorial board member of Phenomics journal.
