Current main research field is the development and application of new technologies and methods in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and glycosylation modification omics. Invented the biological mass spectrometry in-situ analysis algorithm “isotope mass-to-charge ratio and profile fingerprint comparison, iMEF”, and based on the iMEF algorithm, developed new technologies and methods for site- and structure-specific qualitative and quantitative analysis of intact proteins, phosphorylated peptides, N-linked glycans, intact N-glycopeptides, glycolipids, and glyconucleic acids; and conducted application research in fields such as discovery of potential cancer biomarkers, biopharmaceutical characterization, and construction of species glycosylation blueprints. Has published over 90 papers in journals such as Chemical Communications, Analytical Chemistry, Analytica Chimica Acta, Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, Journal of Proteomics, Scientific Reports, and Chemical Reviews. Research directions: 1. New technologies and methods in biological mass spectrometry; 2. New technologies and methods for site- and structure-specific quantitative glycoproteomics, glycolipidomics, and glyconucleic acid omics; 3. Discovery and validation of disease-related abnormal glycosylation modifications.
