Tong Yin

Dr. Tong Yin’s career began as a technician at the Affiliated Jiangbin Hospital of Jiangsu University Medical College (1990-1996). She then became a lecturer at Ruijin Clinical Medical College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (1996-2005). She was promoted to Associate Research Professor, working at the Shanghai Institute of Hematology and the State Key Laboratory of Medical Genomics (2005-2009). During this period, she undertook postdoctoral research at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, USA (2005-2009), and later became a Senior Research Scientist there (2009-2011). From 2011 to 2013, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Since December 2015, she returned to Ruijin Hospital, working at the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes and the National Research Center for Translational Medicine (Shanghai), first as an Associate Research Professor and then as a Research Professor (since Dec 2016). Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science from Jiangsu University Medical College (1985-1990), a Master’s in Medical Microbiology (1993-1996), and a Ph.D. in Genetics (2000-2003) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
