Research Interests: The research group focuses on developing novel proteomics technologies and methods based on functionalized magnetic nanomaterials. Addressing key challenges in proteomics such as protein digestion, enrichment of abundant proteins and endogenous peptides, and selective separation and enrichment of modified proteins, the group has conducted research on rapid protein digestion using functionalized magnetic nanomaterials, separation and enrichment of low-abundance proteins and endogenous peptides, and selective separation and enrichment of modified proteins. Published over 200 research papers in prestigious international journals including Chem. Soc. Rev, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., and Anal. Chem. Papers cited over 6,000 times, with single papers cited over 900 times, h-index of 49. Selected as Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar, ranked 60th. Principal investigator Chunhui Deng has led and participated in multiple national and provincial projects, including Shanghai Key Projects, National Natural Science Foundation General Program, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 973 Program projects.
