Ying Fu

Dr. Fu pursued her doctoral studies in Clinical Proteomics and Structural Biology at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from September 2018 to June 2023, earning a Ph.D. degree. Since September 2025, she has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Key Laboratory of Oncoproteomics of the National Health Commission, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. She has been serving as an Editorial Board Member of Frontiers in Molecular Medicine since December 2021. Dr. Fu has long been dedicated to cancer proteomics research, with a focus on comprehensive proteomic profiling of tumors and the discovery of small-molecule drug targets. As a key contributor to a sub-project of the National 973A Program, she pioneered the first systematic proteomic expression profile of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma, revealing its proteomic characteristics, potential molecular mechanisms, and therapeutic targets. In the field of chemical proteomics, using covalent FGFR inhibitors as a model, she integrated multi-omics approaches to systematically dissect the target interaction network in hepatocellular carcinoma, identifying novel drug targets and elucidating their mechanisms of action. As first or corresponding author, she has published 12 SCI-indexed papers (10 in JCR Q1) in leading journals including Advanced Science, Cell Death & Disease, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, and Molecular & Cellular Proteomics. She holds one authorized national invention patent, has contributed to two monographs, and serves as the Principal Investigator of one project funded by the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province.
