王通博士,长江学者,广东省高校”双带头人”教师党支部书记,研究员,博导,广州市创新领军团队带头人,广州市优秀专家,广东企业科技特派员,中国产学研促进创新奖获得者,2020年暨南大学十佳科研先进个人。中国研究型医院学会细胞外囊泡研究与应用专业委员会(CSEV)常务理事,CSEV分离与检测学组组长,中国性病艾滋病防治协会艾滋病检测与促进社会应用专业委员会委员,中国人类蛋白质组计划骨干成员。领导完成艾滋病和乙型肝炎微量精准定量检测技术的研发和产业化。领导完成国内首个药监局批准外泌体分离医疗器械。领导完成新冠病毒微量精准核酸试剂盒的产业化。领导建设暨南大学孵化的东莞微量精准医学检验实验室。共同领导发现”隐藏的人类蛋白质组”。承担包括十三五国家科技重大专项,国家大科学计划国际合作项目、国家自然科学基金,广东省应用型科技研发重大专项和广州市创新领军团队项目等国内外课题/子课题20余项。截至2021年9月,在包括Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Nucleic Acids Research、Journal of Proteome Research和Journal of Immunology等国内外期刊发表学术论文80余篇。研究方向:1)细胞外囊泡与重大疾病,2)精准医学新技术的研发与应用,3)分子系统生物学。

Standing Director of the Chinese Society of Extracellular Vesicles Research and Application (CSEV), Head of CSEV Separation and Detection Group, Member of the AIDS Detection and Social Application Promotion Committee of the Chinese Society for STD and AIDS Prevention and Control, Backbone Member of the China Human Proteome Project. Led the completion of R&D and industrialization of micro-precise quantitative detection technology for AIDS and hepatitis B. Led the completion of the first NMPA-approved extracellular vesicle isolation medical device in China. Led the completion of industrialization of SARS-CoV-2 micro-precise nucleic acid detection kit. Led the construction of Dongguan Micro-Precision Medical Laboratory incubated by Jinan University. Co-led the discovery of the “hidden human proteome”. Undertook more than 20 domestic and international projects/sub-projects including the 13th Five-Year National Science and Technology Major Project, National Big Science Program International Cooperation Project, National Natural Science Foundation, Guangdong Province Application-oriented Science and Technology R&D Major Project, and Guangzhou Innovation Leading Team Project. As of September 2021, published over 80 academic papers in domestic and international journals including Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, Nucleic Acids Research, Journal of Proteome Research, and Journal of Immunology. Research Interests: 1) Extracellular vesicles and major diseases, 2) R&D and application of new precision medicine technologies, 3) Molecular systems biology.
