Wantao Ying

Ying Wantao, Ph.D., Associate Researcher at the Institute of Omics Sciences, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Principal Investigator of “Biological Mass Spectrometry and Glycoproteomics,” Beijing Rising Star of Science and Technology, and outstanding talent supported by the General Logistics Department. He has long focused on structural analysis of protein glycosylation modifications, omics analysis and glycoprotein biomarker discovery research, as well as quantitative proteomics analysis technology development and tumor proteomics application research. He has achieved multiple breakthrough advances in proteome molecular typing and target discovery research for liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer and other tumors, as well as glycosylation structure research of genetic engineering drugs. He has published over 100 SCI papers in Nature, Nature Methods, PNAS, Molecular & Cellular Proteomics, Analytical Chemistry, etc. He has been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award “Proteomics Innovation Team Award,” Beijing Science and Technology Progress First Prize, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association First Prize, and other awards.
