Research Interests: Professor Feng Ge has been dedicated to functional proteomics research for many years. First mapped the fine proteome atlas of model cyanobacteria and diatoms, establishing a universal proteogenomics analysis workflow. Developed mass spectrometry-based post-translational modification (PTM) identification and systematic discovery technologies, revealing the mechanisms of modifications such as phosphorylation, acetylation, and succinylation in photosynthesis and energy metabolism of aquatic model organisms. Combined with quantitative proteomics, elucidated the molecular mechanisms by which aquatic organisms adapt to stress conditions such as high light and nitrogen deficiency, pioneering the new field of aquatic organism functional proteomics.
