Dr. Guo earned his Master’s degree in Instrument and Meter Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from September 2018 to March 2021, and his Ph.D. in Instrument Science and Technology from the same institution from September 2021 to June 2025. Since August 2025, he has been an Associate Professor at Shanghai University of Sport. Dr. Guo’s research focuses on intelligent biosensing and bioinformatics analysis, with particular emphasis on protein detection and protein–protein interaction analysis. In protein analysis, he employed isoelectric focusing and chromatographic techniques to separate and identify hemoglobin components, elucidating the interference mechanism of HbA3 in HbA1c detection. In methodology development, he concentrated on visualization-based quantitative strategies for complex environments, establishing a moving exchange interface model and proposing novel quantification methods based on migration distance readouts coupled with dual-internal-standard calibration, enabling stable quantification without stringent temperature control, and further developing mobile phone-based machine vision for automated analysis. In bioinformatics, he innovatively incorporated 3D genomic information to construct protein–protein interaction prediction models, revealing the correlation between spatial proximity of genes and protein interactions. His related findings have been published in journals including Analytical Chemistry, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, and Analytica Chimica Acta, providing new technical avenues for biomarker detection and interaction network analysis in proteomics.
