Submission Requirements
– An abstract may have only one presenting author. There is no limit to the number of co-authors per abstract.
– A presenter may only present two abstracts.
– Prepare the following sections in plain English text for pasting into the appropriate text boxes during submission. Abstracts cannot be edited after submission. See an example abstract here.
– Title (maximum 20 words)
– Authors and affiliations
– Structure the abstract body (maximum 300 words) with the following headings.Abstracts should include introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. References (optional).

Poster Competition
RULES:
– Entrant must be a current Graduate Student (PhD or Masters) and present a poster during HUPO 2022. 15 posters in each trainee category (graduate students and postdocs) will be pre-selected based on the quality, novelty and potential impact of submitted abstracts.
– Posters will be visited by evaluators during the poster sessions at HUPO 2022 to select a winner and runner up for each level (graduate student and postdocs).
– Award winners will be highlighted during the HUPO 2026 Closing Ceremony & Awards Session.
Corporate Poster
Scientific posters may be submitted by a company through the regular on-line mechanism. However, if the poster is only reporting about the capabilities of a product (e.g., instrument, ancillary device, kit, reagent, software) and does not have a main scientific focus, it can only be considered in the Corporate Poster category, for which there is a fee and a designated presentation location in the poster hall.

3.Choose the submission topic.
4.Provide author(s), affiliation(s), and presenting author. Submit the abstract body, and check the boxes for competition participation or corporate poster if applicable.
5.Preview the submission, then submit. Keep a record of your abstract number.

Presenting authors must complete their registration by August 7, 2026; otherwise, their presentation eligibility will be withdrawn.
