Long engaged in research on the structure and function of photosynthetic membrane proteins and regulatory mechanisms of photosynthesis, aiming to improve plant light energy utilization and provide theoretical foundation and new approaches for high-light-efficiency agriculture. Research achievement “Crystal Structure Analysis of Photosystem I Photosynthetic Membrane Protein Supramolecular Complex in Higher Plants” was selected as one of the “Top Ten Advances in China’s Life Sciences” in 2015, and research on green algae photosystem I structure and function was selected as one of the “Top Ten Scientific Advances in China in 2019” \u2014 “Deciphering the Protein Structure and Function of Underwater Photosynthesis in Algae”. Has published over 30 papers as first author and corresponding author in journals such as Science, Nature Plants, Nature Communications, and Cell Discovery. Has led 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 1 Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Major Basic Research Project. Research directions: (1) Structure and function of photosynthetic membrane proteins; (2) Regulatory mechanisms of photosynthesis and high-light-efficiency agriculture.<\/p>\n
