Chris Turck

自2023年1月起,担任中国科学院昆明动物研究所的教授和首席研究员。他同时也是慕尼黑大学(Ludwig Maximilians University Munich)生物化学系的教授(自2003年5月起)和系统神经科学研究生项目的教授(自2009年6月起)。在此之前,他于2002年至2022年间在马克斯·普朗克精神病学研究所担任蛋白质组学与生物标志物负责人。1986年至2001年,他在加州大学旧金山分校医学院任教授,并兼任霍华德·休斯医学研究所蛋白质结构实验室主任。其早期职业生涯包括在罗氏分子生物学研究所的博士后研究(1983-1986),以及在亚琛工业大学(RWTH Aachen University)的德国羊毛研究所和高分子化学系担任研究助理(1981-1983)。

Since January 2023, Chris Turck has served as a Professor and Principal Investigator at the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also holds positions as a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry (since May 2003) and the Graduate Program of Systemic Neurosciences (since June 2009) at Ludwig Maximilians University Munich. Previously, he was the Head of Proteomics and Biomarkers at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry from 2002 to 2022. From 1986 to 2001, he was a Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and concurrently served as the Director of the Protein Structure Laboratory at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. His early career included postdoctoral research at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology (1983-1986) and roles as a Research Associate at the German Wool Research Institute and the Department of Macromolecular Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University (1981-1983).
