Dr. Fu earned her Ph.D. in Genetics from Nankai University from September 2016 to June 2020. Since November 2023, she has been serving as a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Dr. Fu is currently an Associate Research Fellow in the research group of Professor Ruijun Tian at SUSTech. She has been deeply engaged in pancreatic cancer-related proteomics research for many years, particularly accumulating extensive experience in the application of mass spectrometry-based proteomics technologies to pancreatic cancer studies, demonstrating a solid research foundation and outstanding scientific capabilities. To date, she has published 16 papers, including 6 as first or co-first author in prestigious international journals such as Nature (2025), Nature Communications (2026, 2023), Chemical Science (2024), and Molecular & Cellular Proteomics (2023). Dr. Fu serves as the Principal Investigator of the Young Scientists Fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and has participated in multiple National Key Research and Development Programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2025, she was honored with the “π-HuB Rising Star” award by the organizing committee of the 3rd Global Summit of the Human Proteome Navigation (π-HuB) International Science Program and the 13th Annual Conference of the Chinese Human Proteome Organization (CNHUPO).
